HEEEEEERE'S JOHNNY... (umm, actually here's Dharam ji in 'Johnny Gaddaar')

Many thanks to Akshay Shah of the wonderful naachgaana.com (his personal blog may be found here) for making me aware of this slice of Dharamlicious fabulousness - check out the very intriguing posters here... the man is back and I am loving it... I'm even loving the mustache (which I very rarely do). I will do more research on this movie and post more info later (so far, all I know is that unfortunately, it's having a very disappointing run at the box office, despite good reviews)... in the meantime.... bring it on, Dharam ji!! We want more... well, at least I sure do!

Hey Ms. Opeke, how are you doing? I really enjoyed 'Tara Rum Pum', a lot of people didn't seem to like it but I thought it was great fun. Lots of colour, a bit flashy as Uzo put it... and quite different from a lot of Bollywood stuff (it's about a racing driver). I thought Rani was particularly good in the film, it has some cool songs too... so I liked it. 'Fanaa' I am yet to see although I have it - I think I heard so much about it that I lost interest... but Kajol is supposed to be really good in it and most people I know loved it, so I suspect you'll like it...

Hey darkelcee, no it's not the new thing in town o! In Naija it is still desperately uncool - LOL!! But I am really into them... if you do want to get 'born again', please feel free to hit me up for some recommendations.

Hey Daddy's girl,

Yep, I'm one of those Tara pum pum bashers! Well, to say the truth, I too enjoyed the presence of Rani in the film, and the colour, and the fun... But didn't you think it was just so soppy?
(you can check all this in more detail here http://www.letstalkaboutbollywood.com/article-11433597.html - if you're interested...)

Have fun!

miss opeke: Ok, so it's 'Fanaa' for me this weekend!

@yves: Yeah it was kinda soppy, I agree, but it's a Bollywood film after all... I agree with your review that it's very 'Hollywood-ized', which is not my favourite type of Hindi film, but I still enjoyed it.

@akshay: I so cannot wait to see it! I'm counting the days till it comes out on dvd - I'm really glad that he is doing films again.

Let me know what you think about "Fanaa"

I am already thinking of getting the Audio CD (fanaa) also...love the songs especially 'Dekho na' ( I juz fell in love Amir khan there) then 'Des Rangli'...

@miss opeke: Although I haven't yet seen the movie, I've been in love with 'Chand Sifarish' (love it) and 'Mere Haath Mein' for quite a while... I haven't heard 'Dekho Na' yet, but now I can't wait to see the film... will definitely let you know when I've seen it.
