And so, the new 'Shiva' was made....
And that's still kinda weird!Aparnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17465535925292456208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-76575902596967528352007-03-08T08:49:00.000+01:002007-03-08T08:49:00.000+01:00So RGV remade his own movie? I bet the old one was way better than the new one.Daddy's Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14679564351145843434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-67919866763660060752007-03-08T06:41:00.000+01:002007-03-08T06:41:00.000+01:00Speaking of Shiva, RGV made a Shiva way back, prob...Speaking of Shiva, RGV made a Shiva way back, probably at the end of eighties....with Nagarjuna and Amala...it was a classic...and my first shuddering foray into watching 'violent', and 'hard hitting' movies....it also had good movies.Aparnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17465535925292456208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-87013882865627462042007-03-02T09:23:00.000+01:002007-03-02T09:23:00.000+01:00@amy: Yes, Vivek is very very cute... glad you lik...@amy: Yes, Vivek is very very cute... glad you liked the review. I definitely think 'Company' is worth a watch if you like crime movies (although it's more than just another crime movie), and 'Rangeela' is worth a watch just for Aamir's performance.Daddy's Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14679564351145843434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-81418706115500202882007-02-28T11:20:00.000+01:002007-02-28T11:20:00.000+01:00Why haven't i seen these movies??? I need to see them :) I quite like Vivek Oberoi, he definately has that cute puppydog cuteness :) I really like how you reviewed the director instead of just focusing on the actors...very different and refreshing for me!
-AmyLidiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14196002055847914826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-59800482558047391502007-02-28T10:08:00.000+01:002007-02-28T10:08:00.000+01:00Awww.... That's what makes movies magical.
Maybe my lack of enthusiasm about 'Rangeela' stems from the fact that I watched the DVD on my laptop on a very boring day. We were visiting family (under compulsion) and we were grumpy about having nothing to do and nowhere to go. My sister (who watched it with me) liked it better than I did, though. I think I need to watch it again...Daddy's Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14679564351145843434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36123519.post-38108161858312518142007-02-28T03:39:00.000+01:002007-02-28T03:39:00.000+01:00Saw 'Rangeela' in Bombay when it first came out. After getting samosas we settled in and got to see a bright light shone on a spinning disco ball with the 'Spirit of Rangeela' playing on the speakers - classic! Great movie - Aamir at his most vulnerable and can't ever forget him in his yellow suit.Sanket Vyashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00410998671085464946noreply@blogger.com
